Project Overview:
Cheshire Underfloor Heating recently completed an exciting project in Congleton, Cheshire, involving the installation of the Warmup DCM-PRO Electric Underfloor Heating system in the kitchen, study, and hall areas. The project was driven by the client's desire to add an additional heat source to these spaces and to replace the existing tiled floor with Karndean flooring. Traditional radiators had proven insufficient, especially during colder weather, necessitating a more efficient heating solution.
The Challenge:
One of the main challenges of this project was the limited height available to work with, as the floor area extended into the living and dining spaces. The existing tiled floor needed to be removed, the subfloor prepared, and the Warmup DCM-PRO System installed—all while ensuring that the transition between spaces was seamless.
Our Solution:
Warmup DCM-PRO Electric Underfloor Heating System: To address the client's heating needs effectively, we recommended and installed the Warmup DCM-PRO Electric Underfloor Heating system. This advanced system offers precise and efficient heating, ensuring that the desired temperatures are reached and maintained, even during the coldest days of the year.
Karndean Flooring Installation: As part of the project, we replaced the existing tiled floor with Karndean flooring. This flooring not only complements the aesthetics of the space but also works harmoniously with the Warmup DCM-PRO System to distribute heat evenly.
Subfloor Preparation and Matting System: We meticulously removed the tiles, prepared the subfloor, and installed the Warmup DCM-PRO matting system designed for electric underfloor heating. A thin layer of screed was expertly applied to complete the installation, ensuring a level surface and efficient heat distribution.
